revisiting vocabulary at lower levels – 1

another quick idea for elementary level – this time about how to refresh and revisit irregular verbs. We’ve already done all the usual things to learn and remember irregular verbs with my group, so I wanted to do something else to make them come back to the verbs again, as they were still not very good at remembering all the forms. In some cases pronunciation was a problem.

So this time I decided not to write anything at all, but just to use the pictures (thanks to Google!) to represent the verbs I wanted them to remember.

you can download the activity here.

It’s based on the following verbs:

Come/came/come
Sit/sat/sat
Hear/heard/heard
Read/read/read
Break/broke/broken
Buy/bought/bought
Speak/spoke/spoken
Sleep/slept/slept
Think/thought/thought
Build/built/built
Choose/chose/chosen
Become/became/became
