a fun needs analysis questionnaire

Here is a worksheet I often use when I start a new course, both with groups and individuals. It is one of many versions of needs analysis, but it also lets you test yor students’ grammar to some extent. This activity makes the needs analysis stage a bit more exciting and motivating, and earns you a couple of brownie points from your new group!

It contains usual questions you would ask your SS at the beginning of any course, but before they answer the questions they have to recreate them from the prompts. Students can work and comment on the questions both individually or in pairs.

Hope you and your students will enjoy it!
